From the skillful hands of a local resident, the lowly coconut shell oftentimes used only for charcoal-making, is transformed into functional art that could find its way in someone’s living room. The coco shells were polished and cut into shapes to form a coconut tree shaped lampshade mounted on a piece of wood and installed with light fixtures. Soft light emanates from the holes on the shells.
